With rapid displacement taking place in Little Jamaica, we appointed an Interim Board of Directors in June 2025 to advance critical work. The board convenes monthly and supports LJCLT’s strategic planning, acquisition approaches, and policy development.

Interim board members were identified as Black community and cultural leaders, Little Jamaica business owners and residents, and technical experts with cultural affiliations. These individuals have demonstrated the desire to empower Black people and communities.
